Symptoms

Affected Products:

  • Alienware Command Center v6.6.x.x

Increased CPU usage has been observed in AWCC, especially in cases where the computer has been running for multiple days.

Cause

Display driver implementation which causes higher CPU usage.

Resolution

The Dell AWCC software team is aware of this issue, and a new version of AWCC has been released which addresses this issue. Update to AWCC v6.7.37.0 or later to resolve.
