How to forget the storage-array from the VPLEX.

"Array forget" command will use to forget the back-end array on the VPLEX. Command needs to be run in the storage-array context.
make sure that zoning has been removed for the array from VPLEX.

1. Log on to VPLEX Management server using the service account. 
Example:
login as: service
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password:
service@cluster-1:~>

2. From the VPLEX Management server, log on to VPLEXCLI using the service account, by typing the following command: 
service@ManagementServer:~> vplexcli
3. Go to storage-array context by running below command: 
VPlexcli:/>cd /clusters/<cluster_name>/storage-elements/storage-arrays/
4. List the visible storage arrays from VPlex 
VPlexcli:/clusters/<cluster_name>/storage-elements/storage-arrays> ll
5. Use below command to forget the array: 
VPlexcli:/clusters/<cluster_name>/storage-elements/storage-arrays>array forget name_of_array_being_removed --retire-logical-units

Note: --retire-logical-units: retires all logical units from the storage-array prior to retiring the array.
If not specified, the command fails if there are logical units available in the array.

Example: 
Vplexcli:/clusters/Cluster-1/storage-elements/storage-arrays> array forget XtremIO-XtremApp-APM00135012850 --retire-logical-units
1 of 1 storage-array successfully forgetten

Note: The array forget command is mandatory to remove the backend array from VPLEX.  
This command was introduced in 5.4.1 Patch 4 and 5.5 SP1 Patch 1 and is not available in prior releases.
