Erstellen eines Snapshots mit DD OS 5.0 und höher
  1. Geben Sie an der Eingabeaufforderung des Data Domain-Systems Folgendes ein: 
    snapshot create <snapshot> mtree <mtree-path> [retention {<date> | <period>}]
    Beispiel: 
    # snapshot create test22 mtree /backup retention  1mos
Snapshot "test22" created and will be retained until May 31 2010 08:48.
    • Wenn ein Snapshot am 1. Mai 2010 um 8:48 Uhr mit einer Aufbewahrungsfrist von einem Monat erstellt wurde, wird er 30 Tage lang aufbewahrt.
    Hinweis: Die maximale Anzahl von Snapshots, die auf einem System gespeichert werden dürfen, beträgt 750. Wenn die maximale Anzahl erreicht ist, erzeugt das System eine Warnmeldung. Sie können dieses Problem beheben, indem Sie Snapshots ablaufen lassen und dann den Befehl ausführen Filesys bereinigen.
