Dell Encryption Uninstaller mislukt met een generieke fout als gevolg van actieve pre-boot authenticatie

Als u Dell Encryption probeert te verwijderen met behulp van het uitvoerbare bestand Dell Encryption Uninstaller (C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Dell Data Protection\DataSecurityUninstaller.exe) op eindpunten met actieve pre-boot authenticatie, wordt het verwijderingsprogramma onmiddellijk afgesloten met een generieke fout.

De DDPUninstall_Main.log in C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\ geeft geen verdere informatie over de fout weer.

Als u de DDP_ClientSecurityFramework_Uninstall_MSI.log controleert, is het mogelijk om de onderstaande fout te lezen op het moment van de verwijderingspoging.

Als u Dell Encryption Uninstaller wilt uitvoeren op een eindpunt dat is beveiligd met Dell Full Disk Encryption of Dell Encryption Self-Encrypting Drive Manager, moet u eerst de Pre-Boot Authentication deactiveren.
