This health check tool is designed to triage following common and performance issues reported for DDVE system.

Common issues observed on DDVE:
  •  Poor backup write/read Performance
  •  DDFS may hung and restart with RPC timeout issue
  •  DDFS restarts during file system clean (GC)
  •  Problem is preventing filesystem from running
  •  Certificate issue
  •  ROOTDISK issues
  •  System headswap
  •  System Recovery 

How this tool helps to triage above issues 

  • VM/Instance information
  • Current Alerts on system
  • DDFS Panic history
  • GC Configuration
  • Metadata Disk Information/Performance
  • For On-premises 
  • Block Storage Performance 
  • For Active Tier on Object Storage (ATOS)
  • Object Storage Performance
  • Checks for known DDFS issues
  • Checks for System Workload
  • File Distribution
  • Certificate Issues

Report will include checkpoint for every DDVE component section with hint for any known issue and what are an additional triage steps are required
