Data Domain: Rilevato guasto NVRAM | Errore o condizione difettosa

⚠️ Importante: Non sostituire una scheda NVRAM o una BBU a meno che DDOS non abbia pubblicato un avviso che indica un guasto. La sostituzione proattiva non è consigliata.

Applicabile a:

• Tutti i sistemi Data Domain
• Tutte le versioni software DDOS

Possibili avvisi:

• NVRAM-00001: File system is disabled due to a problem with the NVRAM subsystem
• NVRAM-00002: Battery at low charge and not charging
• NVRAM-00003: Excessive PCI or memory errors
• NVRAM-00201: Hardware fault detected with NVRAM card
• NVRAM-00202: Hardware fault detected with NVRAM remote battery
• NVRAM-00204: Invalid condition detected with NVRAM battery

DDOS monitora continuamente il sottosistema NVRAM. Quando rileva un guasto nella scheda NVRAM o nella BBU, invia un avviso.
L'avviso include in genere dettagli diagnostici, ma potrebbero essere necessarie ulteriori indagini se la sostituzione del componente non risolve il problema.

In genere, la risoluzione degli avvisi comporta la sostituzione della scheda NVRAM o della BBU (se non integrata). Attenersi alle procedure seguenti:

1. Creazione di un pacchetto di supporto
2. Inviare una Service Request al provider di supporto.
