PPDM: Wdrożenie pakietu instalacyjnego vSphere kończy się niepowodzeniem z kodem błędu "ABV0032"

Podczas wdrażania lub aktualizowania pakietu instalacyjnego PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) vSphere Installation Bundle dla modułu przenoszenia danych Transparent Snapshot Data Mover (TSDM) zadanie konfiguracji kończy się niepowodzeniem z komunikatami o błędach podobnymi do następujących:

ABV0032: VM Direct Engine is unable to configure protection for the host "ESXi Host" on vCenter "VCenterName"

W sekcji szczegółów błędu zgłaszany jest komunikat o błędzie podobny do poniższego:

Unable to install vSphere Installation Bundle on host "ESXi Host". vCenter task is failed with /usr/sbin/esxupdate returned with exit status: 15

Na serwerze vCenter Server wymagane jest skanowanie pamięci masowej. Bez tego komunikaty o błędach podobne do następujących są zgłaszane w pliku dziennika "esxupdate" na hoście Broadcom ESXi:
