PPDM: vSphere-asennuspaketin käyttöönotto epäonnistuu ja näyttöön tulee virhekoodi ABV0032

Kun PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) vSphere -asennuspakettia otetaan käyttöön tai päivitetään TSDM (Transparent Snapshot Data Mover) -asennuspakettia varten, määritystyö epäonnistuu ja näyttöön tulee seuraavankaltainen virhesanoma:

ABV0032: VM Direct Engine is unable to configure protection for the host "ESXi Host" on vCenter "VCenterName"

Virheen tiedot -osassa ilmoitetaan seuraavankaltainen virhesanoma:

Unable to install vSphere Installation Bundle on host "ESXi Host". vCenter task is failed with /usr/sbin/esxupdate returned with exit status: 15

Tallennustila on tarkistettava vCenter-palvelimessa. Ilman sitä Broadcom ESXi -isännän esxupdate-lokitiedostossa näkyy tämänkaltaisia virheilmoituksia:
