증상

Fouten die worden gemeld tijdens het maken van een traditionele groep met twee verschillende schijftypen uit de Dell EMC Unity GUI met OE-code 5.2 worden hieronder weergegeven:
"Het verkeerde aantal schijven is geleverd voor de opgegeven RAID-configuratie, of het aantal schijven komt niet overeen met de standaard RAID-configuratie voor de schijven in de schijfgroep. Fout: Code (0x6700171)"


Tijdens het maken van de pool met verschillende schijftypen wordt de volgende fout verwacht:

uemcli -d  -u Local/admin -p  /stor/config/pool create -name  -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional

uemcli -d  -u admin -securepassword /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show -storProfile tprofile_1, tprofile_19 -type traditional

Please input your selection (The default selection is [1]): Operation failed. Error code: 0x1000401
The object was not found with "Pool0". (Error Code:0x1000401)

 

원인

De traditionele poolcreatie vanuit de GUI is niet haalbaar vanuit Dell EMC Unity OE code 5.2.0, hetzelfde kan alleen worden geconfigureerd via cli-methode met behulp van uemcli.
 

해결

Als eerste stap moet de traditionele pool met alleen een flash-station of het hoogst beschikbare niveau (schijftype) worden geconfigureerd. Zodra de pool is gemaakt, kan deze verder worden uitgebreid vanuit Unisphere met SAS- of NL SAS-schijf.

Stappen voor het configureren van traditionele pool via CLI:

  1. uemcli /stor/config/dg show >> Toont de schijfgroepen die beschikbaar zijn in het systeem 
  2. uemcli /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show >> Toont de profielen die beschikbaar zijn in het systeem
  3. uemcli -d -u Local/admin -p /stor/config/pool create -name -diskGroup -drivesNumber < drive_number > -storProfile tprofile_x -type traditional
