Symptomer
- The following error appears when trying to browse save set
user root does not have the privileges required to start the requested job. The required privilege is Operator NetWorker
nsraddadminreturns a "Bad resource file" when adding an entry to the external roles field.
Årsak
The local user's Distinguished Name (DN) is missing from the Application Administrator Usergroup's external roles field.
Oppløsning
- Open an elevated prompt on the NetWorker server.
- Add the NetWorker server's local authentication service to the Administrators list:
nsraddadmin -H NETWORKER_SERVER_NAME -P 9090 - If the NMC uses a separate authentication host from the NetWorker server, run:
nsraddadmin -H REMOTE_AUTHC_SERVER_NAME -P 9090
