If you've forgotten your BIOS password—whether it's for system access, administrator settings, or your hard drive—Dell Support can help you reset it securely.

If you can't remember or retrieve your BIOS password, whether it's the admin password, system password, or hard drive password:

Dell Support can assist with password recovery. For security, you may be asked to verify:

  • Your computer model
  • Service Tag
  • Account ownership (proof of purchase or ownership)

If your device is managed by an organization, contact your IT administrator. They may have the password to reset it.
