SRDF Replication Adapter: After adding an array pair, received the error: Discovered duplicate array '<SID>' for SRA 'Dell EMC SRDF Adapter'

After adding an array pair in Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) for Site Recovery Manager (SRM), the following error displays:

“Discovered duplicate array ‘000123456789’ for SRA ‘Dell EMC SRDF Adapter’”

This error may display when trying to create the same array pair from the Recovery site SRM user interface (UI). This occurs after already successfully creating the array pair from the Protected Site SRM UI.
 

After creating an array pair from the SRM UI from either site, creating the same pair from the other side is not needed. Doing so results in the following error: 

“Discovered duplicate array ‘000123456789’ for SRA ‘Dell EMC SRDF Adapter’”

When adding an array pair operation is done on any of the sites, the other site shows the same pair automatically. A forward and reverse direction can be seen for the devices that are taking part in the SRM failover operations.
