Computers with Intel 12th Generation Processor Report a Blue Screen Error

Symptoms
The computer with an Intel 12th generation processor may encounter one or more of the following bluescreen errors:
- WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
- CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT
- MACHINE CHECK EXCEPION
Cause
This is due to Intel Microcode issue.
Resolution
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
- Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
- Connect the AC adapter.
Updating the BIOS to the latest version on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide.
