Симптомы

La integración de NetWorker VMware Protection se configura con el vProxy Appliance. Uno o más respaldos de máquinas virtuales fallan con los errores que se indican a continuación:
  
NSR warning Unable to setup direct save with server xxxxxxx: Failed to connect to storage node on xxxxxxxx. nsrvproxy_save failed to authenticate with nsrmmd on host xxxxxxxxx: Timed out. 
o  
nsrvproxy_save NSR critical xxxxxxx: Cannot start session with NetWorker server 'xxxxxxxxxx': The VM backup request is not valid.

Cuando se agrega un vCenter Server a NetWorker, se crea automáticamente un recurso de cliente para vCenter. Puede ver el recurso del cliente de vCenter en la pestaña Protection-Clients> de NetWorker Management Console (NMC). El atributo "Storage Nodes" del cliente vCenter Server NetWorker, en la pestaña "Globals (2 de 2)", tiene la configuración predeterminada en blanco.

Se desconoce la causa específica. Algunas de las máquinas virtuales requieren que el atributo vCenter Server NetWorker Client "Storage Nodes" se configure con los nodos de almacenamiento adecuados.

Разрешение

Para solucionar las fallas de respaldo, se debe actualizar el atributo "Storage Nodes" del cliente NetWorker de vCenter Server:
  1. Abra la consola de administración de NetWorker
  2. Seleccione la pestaña Protection
  3. En la vista de árbol de la izquierda, seleccione "Clients" (Clientes)
  4. Seleccione vCenter Server, haga clic con el botón secundario y seleccione "Modify Client Properties"
  5. Vaya a la pestaña "Globals 2 of 2" (Globales 2 de 2)
  6. Agregue los nombres de nodos de almacenamiento individuales con los dispositivos de respaldo de destino para los respaldos de vProxy. Incluya nsrserverhost (valor predeterminado para el servidor de NetWorker) como la última entrada: (Un nombre de servidor por línea)
Ejemplo: 
NW_SNode1.yourdomain.com
NW_SNode2.yourdomain.com
nsrserverhost

Esta modificación zonará explícitamente todos los dispositivos necesarios, en los nodos de almacenamiento que utilizan los respaldos de vProxy, según lo disponible para vCenter Server.
