Avamar: Hyper-V GLR non riesce con "Impossibile ottenere gli attributi di sicurezza per il file VHD"

Il mount GLR (Granular Level Recovery) della macchina virtuale (VM) Hyper-V ha esito negativo con messaggi simili ai seguenti: From axionfs.log:

Negli ambienti di alcuni utenti, potrebbe anche causare il riavvio dei server o dei proxy GLR di Windows durante il tentativo di ricerca.

I plug-in GLR di Avamar per Hyper-V, Exchange, SharePoint e SQL (TLR) dispongono di un driver di terze parti incorporato "ELDOS driver".

Questo componente è necessario per eseguire il mount del percorso di backup Avamar di un database per eseguire le operazioni GLR o TLR completate in seguito con lo strumento Itempoint.

La versione del driver ELDOS è precedente ma non dispone dei miglioramenti più recenti per supportare i sistemi operativi Windows più recenti (Windows 2022 e versioni successive). Ciò causa i guasti sopra menzionati.

Di conseguenza, il ripristino GLR o TLR non è supportato per Windows 2022 e versioni successive, come riportato anche in Avamar Support Matrix.

I team di progettazione e gestione prodotti di Dell stanno valutando alternative per le migliori opzioni praticabili.
