Symptómy

Fejl, der rapporteres under oprettelse af en traditionel pulje med to forskellige drevtyper fra Den grafiske Dell EMC Unity-brugergrænseflade, og som kører OE-kode 5.2, vises nedenfor:
"Det forkerte antal drev blev leveret til den angivne RAID-konfiguration, eller antallet af drev stemmer ikke overens med standard RAID-konfigurationen for drevene i drevgruppen. Fejl: Kode (0x6700171)"


Under forsøget på at oprette puljen med forskellige disktyper forventes følgende fejl:

uemcli -d  -u Local/admin -p  /stor/config/pool create -name  -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional

uemcli -d  -u admin -securepassword /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show -storProfile tprofile_1, tprofile_19 -type traditional

Príčina

Den traditionelle puljeoprettelse fra GUI er ikke opnåelig fra Dell EMC Unity OE-kode 5.2.0, det samme kan kun konfigureres via CLI-metoden ved hjælp af uemcli.
 

Riešenie

Som første trin bør den traditionelle pulje med kun flashdrev eller højeste tilgængelige niveau (drevtype) konfigureres. Når puljen er blevet oprettet, kan den udvides yderligere fra Unisphere med enten SAS- eller NL SAS-disk.

Trin til konfiguration af traditionel pulje via CLI:

  1. uemcli /stor/config/dg show >>Shows the Disk Groups available in the system 
  2. uemcli /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show >> Viser de profiler, der er tilgængelige i systemet
  3. uemcli -d -u Local/admin -p /stor/config/pool create -name -diskGroup -drivesNumber < drive_number > -storProfile tprofile_x -type traditional
