症状

The AppSync 3.5 Security and Configuration Guide states the following regarding configuring LDAPS:

File containing the SSL certificate issued from the AD server, required
to enable SSL communications to the AD server.

It does not state what format this file should be in, what location it should be added to on AppSync Server, or what to add to the Certificate File box below:

kA2f1000000G78ACAS_2_0

原因

.

解决方案

  • Export the certificate from Windows Active Directory in PKCS #7 format (include all the certificates in the chain)
  • Convert the PKCS #7 file into PEM format using OPENSSL :
Run: openssl pkcs7 -inform der -print_certs -in <filename>.p7b -out <filename>.pem
  • Add the PEM file to following directory in AppSync Server:
C:\EMC\AppSync\jboss\_jre\lib\security\
  • Add C:\EMC\AppSync\jboss\_jre\lib\security\<filename>.pem  to Certificate File box:
kA2f1000000G78ACAS_1_0
Note: LDAP Server name needs to be the same as in the certificate file
