Avamar-palvelimen /data01-osio täyttyy mc/server_tmp- ja /usr/local/avamar/var/client-kansiossa olevien suurten tiedostojen vuoksi

Ongelma voi aiheuttaa avamar-apuohjelmasolmussa tai yhdessä solmussa olevan järjestelmän käyttöjärjestelmän tiedostotilan poikkeavaa kulutusta.

/data01-osio täyttyy, koska /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_tmp- ja /usr/local/avamar/var/client-hakemistoissa on useita suuria vanhoja tiedostoja.  

Esimerkki:
Seuraavasta tuloksesta näkyy, että /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_tmp-hakemistossa on >2 700 .tgz-tiedostoa , joista kukin on tavallisesti kooltaan 66 Mt ja joka on peräisin maaliskuusta 2015 toukokuuhun 2012.

Lokitiedostoja ei valvota säilytys- eikä kiertokäytännöillä. Suuren kokonsa vuoksi ne voivat kuluttaa paljon tilaa /data01-osiossa . Kun /data01 lähestyy kapasiteettia, Avamarista tulee lopulta käyttökelvoton.

Olemassa olevissa lokin kiertokäytännössä ei oteta huomioon /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_tmp- tai /usr/local/avamar/var/client-/-järjestelmien sisältöä.

Workaround:
Poista ylimääräiset lokitiedostot ja palauta järjestelmä tuotantoon yhteistyössä tuen kanssa.

Päätöslauselman:
Päivitä Avamar 7.3 -versioon, jossa ongelma on korjattu.
