Does NetWorker support Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or Multifactor Authentication (MFA)?

原因

NetWorker does not support Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for Active Directory/LDAP Users.

解决方案

NetWorker 19.12 added MFA capability for local NetWorker accounts using Google Authenticator 6.0 (and later) application.

The process for configuring MFA for local NetWorker accounts is detailed in the NetWorker 19.12 Security Configuration Guide, available through: https://www.dell.com/support/home/product-support/product/networker/docs

Request For Enhancement (RFE) NW-I-1764 has been filed with a request to add supportability for MFA with external (AD/LDAP) accounts. If you would like to track this RFE, contact your Dell Account or Sales team with RFE NW-I-1764.
