症狀

You get error: NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID and Not Secure at the top when accessing the PowerStore UI through a web browser.

原因

This is caused due to a self-signed certificate, a certificate expiring, or being invalid.

解析度

For Self-signed certificates, you must add the self-signed certificate to the host.
To do this will depend on what browser you are using. I have used Microsoft Edge as an example of how to add the certificate.
1. Go to the PowerStore UI site using IP address or FQDN.
2. Click on the "Not secure" in the top of the web browser.
3. Click on "Your connection to this site is not secure."
4. Click on the small certificate icon on the upper right of the tab next to the x.
5. Certificate Viewer: Management should have opened, and you will now click on "Details" tab.
6. Click on the top certificate named "Dell EMC PowerStore CA xxxxxxxx"
7. Click on export and select where you want to save the certificate.
8. In the search bar type run
9. In run open "certmgr.msc"
10. Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and then Certificates under that.
11. Right click in the open space on the right and click "All Tasks" > "Import"
12. Click Next > Select the File we exported above "Dell EMC PowerStore CA xxxxxxxx" > Next > Place all certificates in the following store "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" > Next > Finish.
13. Close and reopen your browser. You may need to clear cache and cookies.

You should no longer see the NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID.

For third-party CA Certificate expiring or being invalid, you must work with your AD/LDAP admin to look at the certificates. Either renew the certificate or resolve it being invalid.

If you do not want to do the above step for each host, you can follow PowerStore: How to replace the self-signed cluster management certificate with a certificate issued by an external certificate authority to create a third-party CA cert that is signed and trusted in your environment.
