Hvis du ikke kan koble til vCenter og verifisere på nett, kan du eksportere vCenter-sertifikatet fra nettleseren og lagre det i en fil for validering.

Slik validerer du et privat eller offentlig nøkkelpar ved hjelp av OpenSSL:

  • Beregn en hash-verdi for en privat nøkkelmodul:
$ openssl rsa -modulus -noout -in <private key file> | openssl md5
  • Beregn en hash-verdi for sertifikatmodulen:
$ openssl x509 -modulus -noout -in <certificate file> | openssl md5

Hvis de to hash-strengene er de samme, betyr det at nøkkelparet samsvarer. Ellers er det ikke et gyldig nøkkelpar.
