Removing the Cover

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the thumbscrews that secure the cover to the computer. Slide the cover from the computer. Figure displaying how to remove screw from the computer.
  3. Lift the cover upward to a 45–degree angle and remove it from the computer. Figure displaying how to remove the cover from the computer.
