Removing the M.2 PCIe SSD

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. 2.5–inch drive assembly
  3. To remove the M.2 PCIe SSD:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the M.2 PCIe SSD [1].
    2. Lift and pull out the PCIe SSD from its connector [2].
