Autoconfigure behavior
The autoconfigure behavior automatically configures unconfigured drives during reboot and hot insertion. Unconfigured drives are configured according to the settings; but the configured drives remain unaffected.
PERC 11 supports
Off and Non–RAID settings.
| Settings | Description |
|---|---|
| Off | Autoconfigure behavior is turned off. |
| Non–RAID | Unconfigured drives are configured as non–RAID disk during boot or during hot insertion; all the configured drives remain unaffected. |
| Off to Non–RAID disk | Unconfigured drives are converted to non–RAID disks; all the configured drives remain unaffected. |
| Non–RAID disk to Off | Unconfigured drives remain unconfigured good; all the configured drives remain unaffected. |
NOTE:
PERC H355 front SAS,
PERC H355 adapter SAS,
PERC H350 adapter SAS, and
PERC H350 Mini Monolithic SAS converts an unconfigured good drive to non-RAID only if the drive has never been used before by that specific PERC.
