Removing the Power-Switch Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. stand
    2. back cover
  3. Peel the tape that secures the power-switch board to the computer. Lift the power-switch board to access the cable.

  4. Disconnect the power-switch cable from the power-switch board to remove it from the computer.
