Steps
Angle the side of the midplane with the planar
connectors, and slide the midplane into the chassis.
The planar connectors align with the chassis
slots.
Rotate the other side of the midplane until
the midplane is aligned with the two securing pins on the chassis.
Press the midplane to the chassis, until it
engages with the securing pins, and is firmly seated.
Replace the following:
blower module bay
power pass-through board
system board
power distribution board
PCIe cage
hard drive backplane
backplane expander board
cooling fan assembly
cooling shroud
Close the system.
If applicable, place the system upright on
a flat, stable surface and rotate the system feet outward.
Replace the following:
blower modules
I/O module
power supply units
hard drives
server modules
Reconnect the enclosure to its electrical
outlet and turn the enclosure on, including any attached peripherals.
Turn on the server modules using the operating
system commands or the CMC.
If applicable, install the front bezel.
