Expansion card operational power status

The following table provides information on the operational power status of the expansion cards when:

Table 1. Expansion card operational power statusIf the chassis and server module status turns to Off, then expansion card status turns to Off. If the chassis status turns to Standby and server module status turns to Off, expansion card status turns to On for five minutes and then Off. Note that the expansion card status turns to Off immediately if the system cover is removed. If the chassis and server module status turns to On, then expansion card status turns to On.

The following table provides information on the operational power status of an expansion card when:

Table 2. Expansion card operational power status If the chassis status turns to On and server module status turns to Off, then expansion card status turns to Off. If the chassis and server module status turns to On, then expansion card status turns to Off. Note that the system cover must be installed for the new expansion card to turn on.
