NOTE:This procedure is applicable for RHEL 8.0 and later versions.

Steps
- Expand tarball driver release package.

Install the driver package by running the command:
rpm –ihv kmod-mpi3mr-<version>.rpm.
NOTE:Use rpm -Uvh <package name> when upgrading an existing package.
- If the previous device driver is in use, you must restart the system for the updated driver to take effect.
- Verify the loaded driver version by running the following command: modinfo mpi3mr.
