Removing the base cover
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Loosen the 8 (M2.5 x 5.0) captive screws that secure the base cover
to the computer.
- Use a plastic scribe to pry the base cover starting from the hinges at the top edge of the base cover and lift it from the computer.
NOTE: : The recesses are located near the hinges at the rear side of the computer.
- Remove the base cover
