Removing the PCIe SSD card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. MicroSD card
    2. SIM card tray

      NOTE: : To remove both cards if equipped and no need to remove the blank filler

    3. Base cover
    4. Battery
  3. To remove the PCIe SSD card:
    1. Loosen the 2 (M2.0 x 3.0) screws that secure SSD thermal plate in place [1].
    2. Lift the thermal plate from the SSD card [2].
    3. Remove the SSD card from the slot [3].
