Enable security
Steps
- Enter the Dell PERC 11 Configuration Utility. See Navigate to Dell PERC 11 configuration utility.
- Click .
- Click Enable security, select Local Key Management.
- Click Ok.

If you want to use the passphrase generated by the controller, click
Suggest Passphrase and
Confirm the passphrase by re-entering.
The operation is successful.

Select
I Recorded the Security Settings For Future Reference, click
Enable Security.
A screen is displayed indicating that the security will be enabled on this controller if you proceed.

Yes to continue.
