Removing the camera

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. SD card
    2. base cover
    3. battery
    4. keyboard
    5. hard drive
    6. WWAN card
    7. WLAN card
    8. palmrest
    9. display assembly
    10. display bezel
    11. display panel
  3. To remove camera:
    1. Peel the adhesive tape that covers the camera module [1].
    2. Disconnect the eDP cable from the camera module [2].
    3. Carefully pry the camera module from the system [3].
