Removing display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. microSD card
   2. base cover
   3. battery
3. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Disconnect the following cables [1]:
      • EMR cable
      • World facing camera cable
      • sensor cable
   2. Remove the single (M2x4) screw that secures the eDP bracket to the system board [2].
   3. Remove the eDP bracket away from the system [3].
   4. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the eDP cable to the system board [4].
   5. Lift the latch and, disconnect the eDP cable from the connector on the system board [5].
   6. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the cable to the system [6].
      
   7. Turn the system.
      
   8. Place the system in a 90° position on the edge of a plane surface with the display facing down.
   9. Remove the 6 (M2.5x5) display hinge bracket screws that secure the display assembly to the system [1].
   10. Lift the display assembly away from the system [2].
