Installing SD card reader
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
Steps
- Align the SD card reader with the FPC into its slot on the palmrest.
- Place the SD card reader with the FPC on the palmrest and route the SD card reader FPC through the opening in the palmrest.
- Replace the (M2.5x2.5) screw to secure the SD card reader to the palmrest.
- Connect the LED board cable to the SD card reader.
- Turn the computer and connect the SD card reader FPC to the connector on the system board.
