Installing the palmrest

  1. Align the palmrest from the rear side on the computer and press on the positions indicated until it snaps in.
  2. Tighten the screws that secure the palmrest to the computer.
  3. Connect the following cables:
    1. security board
    2. power-switch cable
    3. touchpad
  4. Flip the computer and tighten the screws at the bottom of the computer.
  5. Install the:
    1. keyboard

    2. hard drive

    3. base cover

    4. battery

    5. battery cover

  6. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer .
