Removing the power button with fingerprint reader

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. system fan

    4. display assembly

    5. Input output board

  3. To remove the power button with fingerprint reader:
    1. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the fingerprint reader board to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [1].
    2. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the power button to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
