Removing the display panel

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. WLAN

    4. display assembly

    5. display bezel

  3. To remove display panel:
    1. Remove the 2 (M2x3) and 8 (M2x2.5) screws that secure the display panel to the display assembly [1, 2]. Removing the screws of display panel.
    2. Release the display panel from the latches on both sides [1].
    3. Turn over the display panel [2].Flip-over the display panel
    4. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the display cable connector to the display panel [1].
    5. Release the latch and disconnect the display cable from the connector on the display panel [2, 3].Disconnecting the display cable.
    6. Remove the display panel.Remove the display panel
