Introduction

This document provides a high-level technical overview of PowerFlex. It describes the PowerFlex erasure coding solution and additional key PowerFlex features, as well as the management capabilities of the PowerFlex management platform and information regarding the PowerFlex offerings.

The target audience for this document includes customers, presales, and Dell Technologies Support.

This Dell Technologies product uses an embedded Linux distribution that is licensed to Dell. This embedded Linux is only authorized to be used to operate the Dell product and only the Dell product.
