Ignition Pin

The ignition pin can be used to wake the Edge Gateway.

Selecting and applying a power option

1. Adjust the power event in systemd using the following command:

# sudo vi /etc/systemd/logind.conf

2. Set the HandlePowerKey variable to one of the following power options:

ignoreDo nothing
poweroff (default)Shut down the system
rebootReboot the system
haltHalt the system
kexecDirect-boot to a new kernel
suspendSuspend the system
hibernateHibernate the system

lockScreen-lock all running sessions.

3. Enable the power option by rebooting the system.
# sudo reboot
