SC400 Series Expansion Enclosure Overview
The SC400 is a 2U expansion enclosure that supports up to 12 3.5‐inch hard drives installed in a four‐column, three-row configuration. The SC420 is a 2U expansion enclosure that supports up to 24 2.5‐inch hard drives installed vertically side by side. The SC420F is a 2U expansion enclosure that supports up to 24 2.5‐inch SSDs installed vertically side by side.
An SC400 series expansion enclosure ships with two redundant power supply/cooling fan modules and two redundant enclosure management modules (EMMs).
