Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Rotate the latch release lock counter clockwise to the unlocked position.
Open the latch on the system cover
Slide system cover toward the back and using the latch lift system cover up from system.
Cooling Shroud
Identify the cooling shroud highlighted in blue
Holding the touch points, lift the cooling shroud away from the system.
System Memory
Identify and locate the system memory highlighted in blue
To release the memory module from the socket, simultaneously press the ejectors on both ends of the memory module socket.
Lift and remove the memory module from the system.
Install
System Memory
Identify the system memory location highlighted in blue, refer to system cover
Press the levers on the memory module socket outward to allow the memory module to be inserted into the socket.
Align the edge connector of memory module with the alignment key of the memory module socket, and insert the memory module in the socket.
Press the memory module until the socket levers firmly click into place.
Cooling Shroud
Identify the cooling shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the cooling shroud with securing slots on the system, then lower the cooling shroud into the system until firmly seated.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue
Align the slots on the system cover with the tabs on the system.
Push the system cover latch down. The system cover slides forward and the slots on the system cover engage with the tabs on the system.
Rotate the latch release lock clockwise to the locked position.
