iDRAC does not report the operating system information
- Description:
- PowerEdge server installed with VMware ESXi 6.5 does not report the installed operating system information in iDRAC.
- Applies to:
- ESXi 6.5.x, 13th, and 12th generation PowerEdge servers
- Solution:
- By default, WBEM is disabled. The workaround is to enable WBEM by running the command:
esxcli system wbem set -e 1
