Installing the card bracket

Steps

  1. Place the card bracket in the slot on the computer chassis.
  2. Connect the cable to the connector on the card bracket.
  3. Flip the card bracket and place the card on the slot.
  4. Tighten the screws that secure the card bracket.
  5. Route the cables through the routing channels.
  6. Connect the cables to the system board.
  7. Connect the battery cable to the battery board connector on the system board.
  8. Install:
    1. battery cable
    2. WWAN card
    3. WLAN card
    4. antenna routing bracket
    5. hard drive
    6. MEMS board
    7. USH board
    8. GPS module
    9. docking board
    10. base cover
    11. battery
  9. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
