Removing the speaker

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
    3. docking board
    4. GPS module
    5. USH board
    6. MEMS board
    7. hard drive
    8. battery cable
    9. card bracket
    10. battery connector
    11. memory module
    12. antenna routing bracket
    13. WLAN card
    14. WWAN card
    15. heatsink
    16. SIM Board
    17. system board
  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Remove the speaker cable from the routing channel [1].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the speaker module to the computer chassis [2].
    3. Lift the speaker module and remove it from the computer chassis [3].
