Removing the docking board
Steps
- Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
- Remove:
- To remove the docking board:
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the docking board
[1].CAUTION Exercise caution while disconnecting the antenna cables. Improper removal may result in damage or breakage of the antenna cables.
- Remove the screws that secure the docking board [2].
- Flip the docking board [3].
- Disconnect the docking board connector cable from the system board by lifting the cable-release tab and lift it away from the computer chassis [4].
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the docking board
