Procedure

  1. Peel off the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the keyboard-controls board.
  2. Lift the latch and disconnect the battery-status light cable from the keyboard-controls board.
  3. Note the battery-status light cable routing and peel off the cable from the palm-rest assembly.
