AW3420, call support?

The light at the bottom of the monitor does not work. It did it you tapped on it a few times. Also 1 pixel goes dead now and then.

The custom light at the bottom of the monitor is dead. Also 1 pixel comes on and off. Currently been working for a week. Any idea what the Dell repair policy is for a on/off dead pixel?

Alas, according to this post it looks like it is 5 or more dead pixels:

The dead pixel would really annoy me and I would probably call Dell up to try to get a replacement under the advanced exchange warranty, considering how much that monitor is.  Especially since you're having other issues, this may just be the early warning signs of a lemon.

If it were just the annoying flashing on the on/off power light on the bottom of the monitor that burned out, don't most people hate that flashing standby light anyway?

Looks like I got lucky with the dead light then. Will give them a call tomorrow. Thank you and be safe!
