How do I overclock my CPU? The AWCC (Alienware Command Center) does not display anything when I select the CPU option? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
The type of CPU should not matter as long as it is compatible with the motherboard. I originally had the factory stock cpu, lastnight I upgraded to the i7 6950X. AWCC does not display anything no matter which cpu is installed. the issue is with AWCC.
The type of CPU does matter, as not all CPUs have an unlocked clock multiplier. The i7-6950X is overclockable, so the issue may be with AWCC. Check the last post in this thread for a possible resolution.

Go here . . . Manually Select Drivers; and type "AWCC" in the Keyword field. Check for other updates while you are there.
