Aux power depends on GPU. Saying a power supply with a single spec of WATTS ignoring what goes on for the combined 3.3v/5v rails and 5vSB rail is a mistake that may cost you everything when it frys everything.
My advice for power supplies that work takes into account Safety and Engineering standards from UL/CSA/VDE IEEE, EPS12v 2.92 as well as published specifications for 80 percent efficient DELL OEM power supplies. You get the spec right from the label as is the case for the unit below.
375W and up video cards usually use 2 X 8 pin connections. 2 connectors 12v 18 AMPS + 75W slot power =507W just for the video card. USB3 ports can provide 5W up to 100W of 5v power depending on how many ports and what type they are. 5w per port is bare miniumum so if you have 8 of them thats 40W just for USB3 ports. 12v 18 amps max is the rating for the 6 or 8 pin molex connectors and is listed the same on the dell power supply label to meet UL 94v fire safety regulations.
75W comes from the slot. 75W comes from a 6 pin
150W comes from an 8 pin.
Cards with a single six pin use 150W
Cards with 8 pin can use 225 to 375W
Cards with DUAL 8 pin and adapter for new MINI 12 pin require 850W minimum
power supply that meets EPS 12v spec for 3.3v/5v combined power.

I actually just started looking at this site. And I checked out a few power calculators. Newegg's calculator suggests my power needs are only 437W seeming to indicate that the 460W PSU we have is already adequate.
I would suggest that you take those power supply calculator programs as...suggestions...rather than an exact number. Some tend to lean on the conservative side, others give you a wider margin in case you change/add something later. Also a train of thought on power supplies is that around 60% load, give or take a little, is when the power supply operates at its maximum efficiency. So if run mostly around 400 watts, then a 800 watt power supply is what is recommended by those aboard that train.
Having said that, Dell/Alienware original power supplies are sufficient for the computer to operate and operate well. Those who indulge in overclocking CPUs and GPUs like a decent amount of head room from their power supplies and like me did battle with the power supply gods and fortunately won.

In other words, if it ain't broke don't fix it, unless you have good reason and would like an adventure.
@Anonymous It does not seem right . . . but I don't know what selection criteria you are using. How much wattage are you looking to get . . . RTX 3070 requires a minimum 650 watt PSU.
I'm thinking 650 or 750. Are you certain there are two EPS connectors? I'm going to pop it open again and take a look.

I'm getting the Nvidia RTX 3070. Is it the same 6+2 connector?
I was trying to filter for what I thought I needed on pcpartspicker.com and eventually it narrowed down to just the Corsair. That can't be right.

The PSU I got says it has a hybrid silent fan control. It says it achieves a balance between fanless, silent, and cooling mode.
However, if the case requires constant active cooling I can operate in normal mode.
What does the case require?
