I did, no help, I have since decided to change my power setup to deep sleep and live with it, this will be my LAST Dell product and I intend to let people know about the very, very lousy dell support
just got 2 PM's from dell and they think I have a laptop....and they want me to take a picture of a written piece of paper with the call number on it below my system tag....
Dell still refuses to take a working on/off button from a "refurbished" but want to send me an entire refurbished computer and making me transfer all my data myself, should I simply swap my drives or even simply swap switches when it arrives?

If this is an R8 with a power switch that behaves improperly, take a look at this thread and try the temporary solution: R8 will not power on
It might save you all the trouble.
